Alumni Association Board Member
Board member since 2015
I have been a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors since 2015, serving on the Mentor and Executive committees. I am a member of the Junior League of St. Joseph where I serve as the Advocacy Director.
When I am not attending one of my children's activities, I enjoy being involved in a wide variety of community events and service opportunities as well as reading, camping, fishing, and sewing in my spare time.
My favorite memories of Northwest are my first day as an on campus student and my last day as an on campus student at Commencement. Every day in between including Homecoming pomping, attending every home and away football game all the way to Florence, Alabama in 2005, and late night Dominos deliveries were great, but the first and last days stick out. It was then that I realized the full extent of the friends, colleagues, professors, and family that I would have as a support and resource for the rest of my life. I know first-hand that the “Northwest Family” is not just a catchy slogan on a recruiting pamphlet but truly an attitude of every person on campus. Once a Bearcat, always a Bearcat!
While on campus I was involved in many organizations including Sigma Society, AAFCS, KON, as well as being an RA in Phillips Hall and working at the Early Childhood Center at Horace Mann.
